Fire Door Inspections

Abbey Fire UK Ltd are pleased to announce we can provide Fire Door Inspections as an additional service.

Our assessors travel to all corners of the UK to carry out these inspections. Our assessors will be checking the doors for a wide range of defects with the hope that no faults will be found.

Whilst completing an inspection we will be checking:

Whether the door has been certified when it was tested
The rating of the fire door
Condition of the door leaf and framework
Strips and seals
Ironmongery
Gap around the whole door, between double doors and threshold.
Glazing

This is a small selection of the checks we do during our inspections.

We record our findings on an app which generates a report once the information is submitted. The reports will have images of the defects with an explanation as to why the door has failed.

Certificates

Each door that is inspected will receive a certificate regardless of whether it passes or fails. These certificates will have the location of the doors so the door is easily identified. All certificates will be on a PDF document and sent via your preferred email address.

Hard copies can be requested but this may occur additional costs.
